Oxo Alcohols & Plasticizers
Our oxo alcohols INA and 2-PH are important raw material components in the manufacture of plasticizers. 2-PH is also used in the production of surfactants. Our plasticizers are manufactured on the basis of isononyl alcohol (INA), and are used primarily for the manufacture of soft-PVC products and in industries such as construction and automotive industries for example.

Within the market segment Oxo Alcohols & Plasticizers, we offer different products such as the oxo alcohols isononyl (INA) and 2-propylheptanol (2PH), which are mainly used for plasticizers and surfactants. Besides 2PH, a high purity mixture of C10 oxo alcohols, plasticizers such (ELATUR® CH/ ELATUR® DPT/ VESTINOL® 9) are offered by this market segment.

MAIN APPLICATIONS
In Europe, VESTINOL® 9 is one of the most important universal plasticizers for PVC. VESTINOL® 9 is used in both thermoplastic and plastisol processing operations and in both cases, represents excellent value for money and an outstanding processing window.
ELATUR® CH – our universal plasticizer – is especially suitable for more demanding PVC applications, such as everyday objects which come into direct contact with the skin.
ELATUR® DPT is our new fast fuser for special PVC applications, like flooring, wall coverings and films. It is especially effective when used in combination with ELATUR® CH.
