#11 – Recipe: German „Glühwein“ (mulled wine)

Always a good taste...


1 bottle of dry red wine

1 orange, organic, washed and sliced

1 orange, squeezed

2 cinnamon sticks

5 cloves

2 tbsp. sugar or honey

1 vanilla pod

1 pinch of cardamom

1 star anise


Put the wine, the spices, the freshly squeezed orange juice, the orange slices and the sugar/honey into a pot and slowly heat it on the stove, without boiling it!

Filter the spices and orange sliced and enjoy the hot „Glühwein“!

Tip: to prepare a non-alcohol version, simply replace the wine with grape juice and skip the sugar/honey!
