1,2-Butadiene is a high-purity allenic olefin, which is mainly used as a process additive for synthetic rubber and as an intermediate for fine chemicals. The substance is a highly flammable gas which is used as a specialty chemical in polymer and chemical industry.
Typical Applications
Used as process additive (polymerization regulator) for manufacturing of SBRs, moreover as building block in special syntheses.
